Idea behind Mahoni
Manuka is 100% natural and is proven by scientists to heal a range of conditions. With its easy-to-use formula she created a product that would work wonders for people all over Europe – if she could get the product online. She reached out to DecodeUp for a new digital experience.
Introducing the world to Manuka
Viola approached us with an idea about her new site. It centered on selling three specific products:
- Mahoni Inner Remedy
- Mahoni Skin Remedy
- Mahoni Daily Boost
The website needed simple e-commerce capabilities to sell the products and also to highlight their features and benefits.
Viola wanted to focus on facts to build credibility and show off the benefits of the product and how its used in cooking.
We were excited to develop a solution that would help potential customers find and understand Viola's product then make a purchase. The key was creating graphics that could overcome the challenges to this project.
The Challenges
We assigned a team of experienced designers and engineers to assess the guidelines for the project and challenges began to present themselves one by one. Honey is a popular product sold by lots of retailers – why buy Manuka? To uncover our responsibilities as digital experts we have to consider the overall challenges to the business, which led us to the following list:
Create a graphic that clearly shows users how Manuka products are unique and what it can do for them.
Highlight the benefits and possible uses of the products for both skincare and general health.
Create an eye-catching narrative about the story behind the product with text and images.
Spotlight scientific facts that customers will understand to encourage purchases.
Showcase various recipes that consumers can incorporate Manuka products into with dietary benefits included.
